Locally, Jeff is a member of a Smithville service organization and serves as a district officer. He has also been active in the Northland including serving on the board of the Northland Chamber of Commerce.
At the State level, Jeff was appointed by the Governor to the Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhacnement Commission. He subsequently was elected Chairman and served on the Missouri Veterans’ Commission.
Jeff has been a healthcare executive since moving to Smithville after spending eight years shaping policy in Washington, D.C. He served in the George W. Bush's White House Office of Presidential Personnel. Jeff was at the White House on 9-11 and subsequently worked at the Pentagon. Bloemker also worked in the U.S. Senate on the staffs of Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) and Sen. Rod Grams (R-Minn.).
